Job Overview We are a small, privately owned dental practice seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator to join our team. This is a hybrid role for someone who enjoys running the front office and is comfortable providing light chairside assistance as needed. This is not a corporate or high-volume environment. Responsibilities Front Office Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out Answer phones, schedule appointments, and confirm visits Verify dental insurance and explain basic coverage Submit claims and follow up on outstanding insurance payments Collect co-pays and balances at time of service Maintain accurate patient records in dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) Back Office Support (as needed) Turn rooms and assist chairside during procedures Support smooth patient flow on busier days Coordinate with the doctor and clinical team to keep the schedule running efficiently Requirements Prior dental front office experience strongly preferred Comfortable supporting both front office duties and light clinical assisting Experience with insurance verification and claims Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar) Strong communication and phone etiquette Organized, reliable, and adaptable in a small practice setting RDA is a plus, but not required Bilingual is a plus, but not required Schedule & Compensation Pay: $25â30/hour, depending on experience Job type: Full-time Paid sick time provided PTO accrues after 90 days Employee dental discount Paid training and on-the-job support Benefits and opportunities will expand as the practice grows Why This Role This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being an essential part of a small, independent practice and wants a stable, long-term role with room to grow.
