What youâll do Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control standards Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners to capture accurate diagnostic images while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Manage patient intake by taking vital signs, medical history, and updating medical records using EMR systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic Maintain accurate medical documentation and coding for procedures performed, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations Assist with medical imaging procedures and record keeping related to both dental and general health assessments Qualifications Proven experience in a dental clinic setting or dental assisting role with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a dental environment Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately while maintaining patient comfort Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and working effectively with children of all ages Excellent communication skills to explain procedures using medical terminology clearly to patients Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail in medical records and documentation Join us in providing outstanding dental care by supporting our team with your expertise in dental assisting, medical documentation, and patient-centered service.
