Dental Support Assistant - Doctors Volunteer Clinic - Saint George, UT

The Doctors' Volunteer Clinic is in need of a Dental Assistant who is looking for Part Time work to join our team. Our mission is to serve the underserved members of our community, so the work you do will truly make a difference. To be considered for this role, you must be fluent in Spanish. Duties - Take dental x-rays - Perform dental charting and documentation - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist - Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Completion of a dental assisting program or experience - Familiarity in using dental software systems such as Dentrix - Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills - Experience with dental restorations and extractions - Knowledge of dental imaging techniques and interpretation If you meet these qualifications and are looking for a rewarding opportunity, please apply.
