Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Gilbert, AZ
Smiles of Gilbert Dentistry is a quality-centered private practice seeking a talented and friendly hygienist. We are a fully digital, two doctor office in South Gilbert with wonderful patients. We are also a relatively new office that has been open for 4 years. We are expanding our patient base and seeking a hygienist to grow with the practice. We currently have a two full time hygienests and looking for our third hygiene provider! Beautiful modern office with new equipment, soft tissue laser, and high quality instruments. We are highly focused on quality, patient-centered care. We prefer 1 column hygiene as we are more patient focused to ensure high quality care. Typically 90-minute for new patient exams, and 60-minute recall exams. We are looking for a dental hygienist who shares these values to be a part of our wonderful team. This position is full-time, 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday). Desired Skills : Friendly Can-Do attitude Team player Great communication skills Passion for oral health Strong patient educator in oral hygiene Proficiency in hand-scaling and ultrasonic cleaning techniques Accurate probing Proficiency with Dentrix is plus Laser certification preferred, but not required Daily chart review Hygiene care for recall and perio maintenance Monitor and inspect patientsâ oral health Obtain diagnostic radiographs Obtain intraoral photos Clinical charting and treatment planning with doctors for new patient exams and recall exams Understand dental treatment and reviewing outstanding treatment with patients Help with preparing tray setups and run instruments through sterilization.
