Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental models. Maintain accurate patient records using PMS. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in using Dentrix Ascend is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential. Familiarity with infection control protocols and practices. Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
