A Private practice searching for an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Looking for a person who is optimistic, has strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook. Must have an EFDA and Florida radiology license Duties: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take digital dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform dental charting and update medical records in open dental system - Assist with technology for dental restorations - Conduct patient assessments and record vital signs - Provide support in pediatric dental procedures Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Dental documentation and record keeping - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Familiarity with Open dental or other electronic dental records systems - Strong attention to detail and accuracy Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
