We're Growing! Join Our Team at A Smile 4U We're excited to welcome a positive, friendly, and motivated full-time Front Desk Coordinator to our growing team in Decatur, GA ! A Smile 4U is a privately owned dental practice with locations in Cartersville, Decatur, East Point, Dalton, and Hiram . We offer a wide range of specialties under one roof-including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery -using advanced, state-of-the-art equipment and scheduling technology. We proudly serve both pediatric and adult patients , and we're committed to creating a welcoming environment and delivering an outstanding, memorable experience for every patient. Schedule Monday-Friday | 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Check out patients and schedule follow-up appointments as needed Answer and respond to phone calls and in-person inquiries professionally and courteously Accurately enter and update patient information in the practice management software Verify and process patients' dental insurance (PPO and Medicaid), ensure insurance information is accurately added to patient accounts, and prepare claims for the billing team Obtain and review insurance benefit breakdowns for patients when not previously completed Review and discuss treatment plans with patients Review the daily schedule and confirm upcoming appointments to help maintain a full schedule and support office productivity Assist with recall lists, missed or canceled appointments, and treatment plan follow-ups Maintain daily service and clinic logs Work collaboratively with the team to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient experience Monitor and manage front office supply inventory to ensure adequate stock levels Qualifications High School or Technical College diploma. Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain positive working relationship. Customer service oriented with attention to detail, multitasking and organizational skills. Reliable, punctuality, and collaborative team player.
