Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Precision & Sterilization: Execute strict infection control and sterilization protocols for all instruments and treatment rooms to ensure absolute patient safety.
- Attentive Chairside Support: Anticipate the dentist's needs during procedures (four-handed dentistry), passing instruments with speed and accuracy to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Detailed Documentation: Maintain flawless patient records by accurately charting treatments, updating medical histories, and documenting diagnostic findings without error.
- Patient Advocacy & Care: Provide a high standard of patient service by thoroughly explaining procedures, providing clear post-operative instructions, and ensuring every patient feels attended to and comfortable.
- Operational Reliability: Proactively manage treatment room setups and breakdowns on schedule, monitor inventory levels with precision, and identify equipment maintenance needs before they impact daily operations.
- Diagnostic Accuracy: Take high-quality digital X-rays and dental impressions, ensuring clarity and precision for diagnostic use.
Required Skills and Qualities
- Unwavering Work Ethic: Demonstrated resilience and dedication to the team; willing to go the extra mile during busy shifts to ensure the office runs smoothly.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ability to focus intensely on small, critical tasks, such as following multi-step sterilization rules or spotting subtle signs of patient discomfort.

- Strong Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and HIPAA confidentiality at all times.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and operating standard dental equipment with care.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program (Certificate or Associate Degree preferred).
