Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Thousand Oaks, CA

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team!
This opportunity also includes monthly bonus opportunities.

Pay: You will be paid in several ways:
- Daily Pay: We pay hourly, with many opportunities to gain full-time hours across our offices as you desire.
- Monthly Bonus: Opportunity to earn several hundred dollars each month in performance-based bonuses.
- Education: Through our Assistant Track program, we support your clinical growth. We offer a robust catalog of courses and reimburse licensure-related education on your path to becoming an RDA, RDA-EF, or earning additional certifications.
- Covered areas include X-Ray license, coronal polishing, CDA, RDA, RDA-EF, fluoride, nitrous, infection control, sealants, ortho assistant, and CPR.
- We reimburse 50% of approved external course costs upon proof of registration and successful completion.

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and help them feel comfortable
- Assist dentists during procedures
- Take X-rays and impressions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized environment
- Supply monitoring
- Lab case monitoring
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly logs
- Call in prescriptions
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Document clinical notes precisely, logically, and concisely
- Complete additional tasks as requested or assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice
- High School Diploma or GED required; dental college certification preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Diamond Dental, Dentrix, Open Dental, or other dental practice management software
- Current HepB, 8-Hour Infection Control Certification, California X-Ray License, and CPR/BLS certification
