Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and oral health evaluations using advanced medical imaging techniques. Deliver high-quality dental treatments such as restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate treatment plans effectively with patients and team members. Manage dental fabrication processes for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic devices with precision. Document all patient interactions meticulously in medical records following HIPAA regulations and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards. Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote long-term oral health. Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA standards. Collaborate with the dental team using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development and training. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Demonstrated proficiency with dental imaging technology and medical imaging interpretation. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience treating pediatric patients is a plus. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance requirements. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery is essential. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while providing compassionate patient care.
