Responsibilities Perform general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics with precision and care. Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical documentation standards to develop tailored treatment plans. Execute advanced procedures such as dental extractions. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomy knowledge to diagnose conditions accurately and plan effective treatments. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical records and safeguarding patient information. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral health best practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a focus on general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred. Familiarity with dental software such Dentrix for managing medical records and scheduling. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and anatomy relevant to dental practice. Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment. Prior experience working with pediatric patients or in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively using dental terminology while providing compassionate patient care.
