Core Duties
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Provide and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as taking impresions, pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary crowns
-Medit intraoral scanning (Preferred or willing to learn)
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
- Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
- At least 2 years of experience preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Familiarity with dental coding and billing systems preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
