We’re a small, patient-focused practice seeking a confident and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to help us deliver exceptional care and keep our office running smoothly.

General Accountabilities:

Acts as the dentist's right hand and is able to effectively communicate with both the patients as well as the front office staff.
Assists dentist, sets up equipment, prepares patients for treatment, and keeps records.
Prepares patient, sterilizes & disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays, prepares materials, and assists dentist during dental procedures.
Records treatment information in patient records.
Exposes dental diagnostic x-rays.
Takes and records patients medical and dental histories and vital signs.
Assists dentist in management of medical or dental emergencies.
Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist.
Orders and monitors dental supplies and equipment inventory.
Fabricates temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
Makes preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
Pours, trims, and polishes study casts.
Cleans and polishes removable appliances.
Assists with hygiene visits and is able to polish and floss patient's teeth gently .
Cleans back office and ensures completes all weekly and quarterly tasks.
Ideal candidate has 4+ years experience assisting with endodontic procedures, surgical procedures, making temporary crowns, and is kind, and able to build rapport with patients as well as is a team player and helps where needed.
