Job Overview As an OA at Capital Dental Group, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients while working alongside our providers and team. You will utilize your functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations in the delivery of high-quality dental care. Responsibilities: Perform all duties of an Orthodontic Assistant (OA) within the scope of the license, including but not limited to chairside assisting, taking radiographs, and maintaining patient records. Assist the dentist with comprehensive orthodontic care. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials for procedures. Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures. Protect patient privacy by adhering to HIPAA protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient experience. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in orthodontic technology.
