Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)/Dental Assistant - Central California Children's Dentistry of Visalia - Bakersfield, CA

Our pediatric dentistry office has immediate openings for back office dental assistants. RDA and DA are welcome to apply. Positions are full-time with part-time options if requested. Office hours are 8:00am-5:00pm. Candidates must be highly organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and written), dependable, have a positive attitude, and be able to relate well to both adults and children. ***Starting pay is based on experience and licensure*** Duties for this position may include but are not limited to; Patient Preparation: Greet patients, show them to the treatment room, and help them get comfortable. Assisting with Procedures: Hand instruments and equipment to the dentist, suction fluids, and assist with various dental treatments. Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays. Sterilization: Clean and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas to prevent the spread of infection. Impressions: Take impressions and scans of patients' teeth to create models or casts. Patient Education: Provide instructions on post-procedure care and proper oral hygiene. Apply topical fluoride and sealants: after a dental professional has provided care.
