Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history reviews, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Perform advanced restorative procedures such as crowns, bridges, and root canal therapy with meticulous attention to detail. Utilize dental imaging techniques to diagnose issues accurately and guide treatment decisions. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with dental assistants to execute four-handed dentistry efficiently, optimizing patient comfort and clinic productivity. Document all treatments thoroughly in medical records using dental terminology aligned with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental wellness. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry with a focus on crown and bridge work, endodontics, or prosthodontics is essential. Demonstrated proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical documentation standards, and infection control practices. Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other oral surgical procedures preferred. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients is a plus but not required. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Prior experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare environment that emphasizes patient care excellence.
