Permanent Dental Assistant Job in First Class Pediatric Dentistry &Amp; Orthodontics

Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Take and develop dental x-rays - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical records - Assist with medical documentation, including maintaining accurate patient charts and records - Utilize intra-oral scanning software for designing dental appliances Requirements: - Dental assistant certification or relevant experience - Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques - Familiarity with dental coding and billing procedures - Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar electronic dental record systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus -Valid CPR certification Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
