Dental Assistant - Rockville Smile Studio - Rockville, MD

Rockville Smile Studio is a new, modern dental office opening in Rockville this summer. We are looking for an experienced Dental Assistant who is dependable, organized, and excited to be part of a growing practice. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a patient-centered environment, takes pride in creating a smooth clinical experience, and wants to help shape the culture of a new office. Responsibilities Assist the doctor during dental procedures and help ensure efficient patient flow Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before appointments Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols Take dental x rays Support patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting support Help manage clinical supplies, inventory, and organization Assist with digital workflows, scanning, imaging, and technology as needed Support the team with daily office flow and patient experience Qualifications Prior dental assisting experience required X-ray certification Strong understanding of sterilization, infection control, and clinical workflows Comfortable working with patients of all ages Friendly, professional, and team-oriented Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to grow with a new practice Experience with digital dentistry, scanners, or dental software is a plus What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who brings positive energy, takes initiative, and understands the importance of creating a calm and comfortable experience for every patient.
