Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) — Encinitas Ranch Dentistry

We're looking for a warm, energetic, and dependable RDA to join our team in Encinitas.  Our practice is built around two things:  taking incredible care of our patients and being a team that genuinely enjoys working together.  If both of those matter to you, keep reading.

About the practice:  Encinitas Ranch Dentistry is a private, doctor-owned pratice led by Dr. Ryan Kay.  We focus on general dentistry, as well as cosmetic dentistry, implants, and full-mouth restorative work.  One of our RDA'S is moving away, and we are looking for someone who's long term.  Read through our google reviews to get a genuine sense of our office and level of care!

What you'll do:

• Assist chairside for restorative, cosmetic (veneers/smile makeovers), and implant procedures
• Take digital impressions, intraoral photos, and radiographs
• Set up and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, help manage inventory
• Coronal polishing, Sealants, making Temporaries and other RDA-permitted duties
• Help patients feel calm, informed, and well cared for from check-in to check-out
• Support the doctor and front office to keep the day flowing smoothly

What we're looking for: The two things that matter most to us are how you make patients feel and how you fit with the team.  Skills can be taught - attention to detail, kindness, presence, and follow-through cannot. Specifically:

• Active California RDA license in good standing
• Current X-ray, Coronal Polish, and CPR/BLS certifications
• A warm chairside presence - patients should feel calmer when you're in the room
• Someone who communicates well, honestly, follows through, and lifts the team up
• Pride in your work and attention to detail
• We're open to all experience levels - cosmetic and implant experience is a strong plus

• Competitive pay:  $28 - $35/hour DOE
• Full-time, 4-day work week Monday - Thursday
