Our office will give you a variety of procedures to assist throughout the day from orthodontics (clear aligners), implants, grafting, extractions, cosmetic cases with veneers, crowns, bridges, and TMJ. Private Practice, we accept a few insurance plans Would be the main/lead assistant Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist with all procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Sterlization: Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques. Xrays: Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and perform medical imaging as required. Take blood pressure and vital signs, review medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately. Manage patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. work as a team, and when necessary able to help reschedule appointments and manage the front desk duties as needed, including answering phones and coordinating patient flow. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control standards. Ordering dental supplies Job Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred. Proficiency in EMR systems such as Open Dental is highly advantageous. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Ability to perform chairside assisting duties effectively while maintaining patient comfort. Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with patients of all ages. Certification in CPR or BLS; additional certifications related to dental assisting are a plus.
