Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced medical imaging equipment such as 3D scanners while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records efficiently within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and coding. Conduct vital signs assessments and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures to ensure safety and well-being. Support front desk operations by acting, updating medical records, while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols and ensuring all dental instruments are properly sterilized. Assist with medical documentation provide education on oral health practices tailored for periodontal patients. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy. Proficiency in using EMR systems for managing medical records and documentation. Strong understanding of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely while complying with radiation safety guidelines. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and electronic health record management is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills to patients and team members. Certification in chairside assisting or dental assisting from an accredited program is preferred; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
