Cross Trained Front Office /Dental Assistant Support - Dr. Tammy Tran, DDS - Fountain Valley, CA

We are looking for a temporary to hire cross-trained dental team member who can help support both the back office and front office as needed. Our small, patient-centered dental practice in Fountain Valley focuses on quality care, patient comfort, and a wellness-based approach to dentistry. We are looking for someone reliable, flexible, organized, and willing to jump in wherever the team needs support. Experience: Dental experience required; dental assisting experience strongly preferred. Responsibilities may include: Back Office Support: Chairside assisting with the doctor. Setting up and breaking down operatories. Sterilization and infection control. Taking X-rays, if licensed/certified. Stocking rooms and supplies. Helping keep the clinical schedule flowing smoothly. Supporting patient comfort during treatment. Front Office Support: Answering phones and returning patient calls. Scheduling and confirming appointments. Greeting patients and checking them in/out. Collecting payments, deposits, and balances. Helping with insurance verification and benefit checks. Processing autopays or payment arrangements. Responding to patient inquiries. Keeping the front desk and waiting room organized and stocked. We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and professional. Comfortable helping in both the front and back office. Friendly and calm with patients. Organized and detail-oriented. Able to multitask and shift priorities throughout the day. Willing to follow office systems and protocols. A team player who can jump in where needed. Experience with dental software, X-rays, iTero, CBCT, wellness dentistry, ozone, or holistic/biologic protocols is a plus, but not required.
