Your responsibilities will include: Assisting doctors during a variety of dental procedures by anticipating their needs and providing instruments and materials. Preparing treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring operatories are fully stocked and ready for patient care. Taking high-quality digital radiographs ( X-Ray Certification required ). Educating patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative care. Maintaining accurate patient records, charting, and clinical documentation. Following all infection control and sterilization protocols. Creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for patients of all ages. Working closely with our front office team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. Supporting patient scheduling, treatment acceptance, and overall office flow. Continuing to learn and grow through ongoing training and continuing education opportunities. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Experienced as a Dental Assistant (preferred) X-Ray Certified (required) Knowledgeable in dental terminology and infection control procedures Familiar with Open Dental or similar dental software (preferred) Friendly, dependable, and compassionate A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Organized and detail-oriented Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment Passionate about delivering an outstanding patient experience Our Commitment to Your Growth At Hatfield Family Dentistry, we know that the best dental teams never stop learning.
