Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) OR Experienced Dental Assistant Mechanicsburg Dental Associates is looking to welcome an enthusiastic, compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) or an experienced Dental Assistant to our growing team! What You'll Do Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative and general dental procedures. Take dental radiographs. Prepare and sterilize instruments while following infection control protocols. Set up operatories and complete chart preparation for efficient patient flow. Educate patients and provide post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate clinical records. Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and stocked. Utilize digital scanning technology. Fabricating temporary crowns and bridges. Qualifications EFDA Applicants Current Pennsylvania EFDA certification and licensure. Dental Assistant Applicants Previous chairside dental assisting experience is required- 2 years X-ray certification We're Looking For Someone Who Is: Friendly, dependable, and compassionate.
