Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Surprise, AZ
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing orthodontic team. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient-focused, and comfortable traveling between multiple practice locations. This role requires strong clinical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience & Key Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures Prepare teeth for bonding of braces and Aligner attachments Take Orthodontic photos, X-rays, and digital scans. Monitor Patient oral hygiene, instruct patients/parents on proper care, and answer any patient questions Anticipate doctor needs and assist efficiently throughout appointments Help with maintaining clinical inventory, stock treatment Clinical chairs, and support sterilization and infection control protocols Accurately chart patient notes, progress, treatment details, and scheduling needs Clean and organize clinical chairs between patients and support overall office efficiency Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and explain complex procedures clearly Experience with Ortho2Edge Software is a plus Job Type: Full Time and Part Time Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (Based on experience and clinical skills) Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Orthodontic Assisting: 2 years (Required) X-ray certification Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: Free parking On-the-job training Paid time off Safety equipment provided Work Location: In person
