Patient Care & Appointment Coordinator Join a Practice Where Exceptional Patient Care Comes First We are a patient-focused periodontal specialty practice committed to providing outstanding clinical care and an exceptional patient experience. We are seeking a warm, organized, and service-oriented Patient Care & Appointment Coordinator who enjoys helping people, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, and thrives in a professional, team-oriented environment. As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Welcome patients with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care. Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries with exceptional customer service. Schedule and coordinate appointments while maintaining an organized and efficient schedule. Verify insurance benefits and help patients understand their coverage and financial responsibilities. Present treatment estimates and discuss payment options with confidence and compassion. Collect payments, submit insurance claims, post insurance payments, and follow up on outstanding claims. Maintain accurate patient records using our dental practice management software. Coordinate with referring dental offices and support communication between patients and the clinical team. Assist with patient check-in/check-out and ensure all documentation is complete and HIPAA compliant. Contribute to a positive, collaborative office culture committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Qualifications Dental or medical office experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right candidate with exceptional customer service skills. Experience with Dentrix or other dental practice management software is a plus. Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing is preferred. Strong computer and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
