Premier, low volume, patient-centered orthodontic practice in beautiful Hollywood in search of a full time orthodontic assistant. Duties: Chair side assisting of orthodontist Performance of various clinical procedures (adjustments, archwire changes, appliance try-ins, taking alginate impressions, pouring models, fabricating Essix retainers, taking extraoral radiographs, taking extra- and intra-oral photographs, taking digital 3D oral scans) under supervision of orthodontist Set up and break down of clinical rooms Infection control Sterilization of instruments Restocking & inventory management but NO ordering Periodic cleaning and maintenance of equipment & physical space. Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years experience as an orthodontic assistant (or equivalent relevant experience) Experience using intraoral scanners (e.g. Itero) Experience taking alginate impressions Experience making Essix retainers Coachable/ willingness to learn Adaptable Team player Reliable Self-driven Efficient Knowledgeable in and committed to delivering superb customer service.
