Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Sunnyvale, CA
We are seeking an upbeat Registered Dental Assistant to join our orthodontic specialty practice to fill a position that offers long-term stable employment. Our team has proudly served patients for over 30 years, providing excellent care with braces and Invisalign to children, teens, and adults. This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, stays organized, and communicates clearly with both patients and teammates.
In this role, you will help carry out braces and aligner appointments while supporting chairside care and daily clinical operations. Responsibilities include coronal polishing, x-ray duties, photography, scanning, dental charting, patient education, infection control, instrument sterilization, and maintaining accurate patient records. Experience with dental terminology, customer service, digital technology, and intraoral scanners is preferred. Previous orthodontic experience is not required as we can train the right person who is eager to learn.
Requirements include RDA certification and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Our appointment types vary between 10 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the procedure or the appointment sequence of treatment.
Our office hours are from 7:20am-5pm Monday - Thursday. Friday-Sunday are off every week with no weekend shifts expected.
We offer a 1.5-hour lunch break, parking lot access, and a competitive pay range of $30–35 per hour base pay depending on experience.
