Registered Dental Assistant (Pediatrics) - Polished Pediatric Dentistry - San Antonio, TX

We're looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic Registered Dental Assistant who loves working with children and wants to help build something special from the very beginning. Our mission is simple: provide exceptional dental care in a welcoming, fun, and beautiful environment where children feel safe and families feel valued. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of pediatric dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, and X-rays, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Help children feel comfortable and confident throughout their visit. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and organizing supplies in accordance to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs. Manage patient flow by greeting families, verifying medical histories, updating medical records, and scheduling appointments. Educate children and their guardians on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information during all stages of medical documentation and records management.
