Job Description: This position on our team is based on a high level of professionalism and customer service. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate with our team and our patients. Qualifications: Dental experience is preferred, but not required. EFDA certifications are a plus. The position relies heavily on computer and software usage. An affinity for patient care and a positive attitude are required. The ideal candidate is excited to learn new things, be enthusiastic, friendly, great at problem solving, and enjoy working in a team setting. EOE. ```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures - Take dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform basic dental laboratory procedures - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records ```Experience``` - Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but not required - EFDA certifications preferred, but not required - Knowledge of Open Dental or other dental practice management software is a plus - Familiarity with dental coding and documentation - Experience in patient assessment and working with pediatric patients is desirable - Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating dental prosthetics is a bonus Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
