What You'll Do As one of our Expanded Functions Dental Assistants, you'll play a key role in helping us provide an outstanding patient experience while keeping our clinical days running smoothly. Responsibilities include: Chairside assisting during restorative, crown and bridge, implant, oral surgery, endodontic, removable prosthodontic, and other general dental procedures Perform expanded functions as permitted under Missouri law Take digital radiographs and intraoral scans Prepare treatment rooms and maintain an efficient clinical workflow Educate patients on treatment recommendations and post-operative instructions Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental software Work closely with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional care and a seamless patient experience Help create a positive, welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and valued What We're Looking For Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification 3+ years of dental assisting experience Strong clinical and restorative assisting skills Experience with digital radiography and intraoral scanning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, organized, and motivated A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team A genuine passion for building relationships with patients and providing outstanding care Why You'll Love Working Here We believe that taking care of our team allows us to take better care of our patients.
