Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Seattle, WA
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Take dental x-rays - Perform dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns - Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort - Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records - Assist with scanning for digital impressions and restorations Experience: - Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but not required - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Familiarity with medical documentation and recordkeeping - Ability to accurately code dental procedures using appropriate coding systems Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
