We are looking for a Full Time pediatric Dental Assistant About Our Office At Island Pediatric Dentistry you can expect a small friendly team, patient centered dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a fun, compassionate, and safe environment. We pride ourselves on teamwork, patient-centered care, and creating positive dental experiences for families. We are currently seeking a motivated and caring Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Pediatric experience is preferred but we are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, for obvious reasons must be very comfortable with children. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures Prepare and break down treatment rooms Sterilize and organize instruments and equipment Take dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations) Comfort, guide, and reassure pediatric patients and parents Maintain accurate patient records Follow infection control and safety protocols Support front office or clinical team as needed Help maintain upkeep of office Keep a positive demeanor Infront of families Qualifications Dental assistant experience is highly preferred Pediatric dental experience is a huge plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Calm, patient, and friendly , particularly with children and young adults Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) 401-k with employer match after initial probationary period Supportive, family-oriented work environment Opportunity for long-term growth within the practice If you are looking for a small practice to grow with then please apply, we are happily awaiting the right candidate to join our awesome team.
