Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Forest Hill, MD
We are a thriving general dentist practice seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our office, located in Forest Hill, MD. The ideal candidate is compassionate, skilled, computer savvy, and enjoys the camaraderie of working in a small fast-paced office. Parking is easy and in front of our office. Office hours are Monday and Wednesday 8-5, Tuesdays and Thursday 7:30-4, Fridays 8-2. Requirements: Experience as a Certified Dental Assistant (ideally at least 1 year). X-ray Certification. Detail oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks. Compassionate and reassuring to patients who will be undergoing surgery. Energetic and willing to pitch in. Computer savvy. Dentrix knowledge is a plus Duties: Assist the Doctor chairside. Explain post-operative care to patients and help answer questions. Assist with clinical duties such as taking X-rays, perio-charting. Sterilize dental instruments.
