We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team.

The Position

We are seeking a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to work alongside Dr. Peri and our experienced clinical team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident chairside, enjoys a variety of general dentistry, and is looking for a long-term position in a well-established private practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent chairside assistance during a variety of general dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
• Take and develop/process dental radiographs as permitted by certification
• Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, and other general dental procedures
• Take impressions and/or digital scans as needed
• Assist with temporary crowns and other laboratory procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Maintain sterilization and infection-control protocols
• Set up and break down operatories efficiently
• Communicate with patients in a friendly, reassuring, and professional manner
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Work closely with the entire team to keep the day running smoothly
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety protocols

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• RDA preferred, but we will consider an experienced DA
• Current California dental radiography certification
• Strong chairside skills and knowledge of general dentistry
• Comfortable working independently while also being a team player
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and making patients feel comfortable
• Someone looking for a long-term home with a great team
