Orthodontic Dental Assistant Arizona Orthodontics â Phoenix & Mesa, AZ Arizona Orthodontics is looking for an experienced, dependable, and friendly Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who enjoys working with children, teens, and adults and can provide excellent patient care in a busy orthodontic environment. Orthodontic assisting experience is REQUIRED. Please apply only if you have previous hands-on orthodontic experience. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during orthodontic procedures Place and remove archwires, ties, and other orthodontic appliances as permitted Take digital X-rays, photographs, and impressions/scans Assist with Invisalign and braces appointments Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper sterilization and infection-control procedures Provide patients with oral hygiene and appliance-care instructions Document treatment accurately in patient charts Maintain instruments, supplies, and clinical areas Help keep the clinical schedule running efficiently and on time Provide a friendly and professional experience for patients and parents Work closely with the doctor, front office, and other clinical team members Qualifications Previous orthodontic dental assisting experience is REQUIRED Knowledge of braces and orthodontic procedures Experience with digital X-rays and intraoral scanning preferred Invisalign experience is a plus Spanish-speaking preferred Excellent communication and patient-care skills Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude Arizona dental assisting certifications/credentials as applicable to assigned duties Why Join Arizona Orthodontics?
