***MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED*** Solano Smile Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an experienced, motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing, patient-centered team. We are a multi-location practice serving the Albany, Benicia, Fairfield, and Vacaville communities, and we pride ourselves on providing high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. This position is specifically for our Benicia office. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in orthodontic assisting, enjoys working with patients of all ages, and thrives in a fast-paced but organized practice. Orthodontic Assistant Responsibilities: · Chairside assisting for orthodontic procedures · Taking intraoral photos, and digital scans · Banding, bonding, debonding, and wire changes · Sterilization and operatory setup/turnover · Patient education and post-op instructions · Supporting doctors and clinical team to keep clinic flow running smoothly · Maintaining OSHA and infection control standards Orthodontic Assistant Requirements: · Minimum 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience (REQUIRED) · Current RDA/DA certification (as applicable) · X-ray license preferred · Strong chairside skills and patient communication · Reliable, punctual, and a team player · Comfortable working with children, teens, and adults.
