The ideal candidate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and holds the necessary California certifications. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take digital dental x-rays - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software - Manage patient flow - Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies Requirements: - Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software - Ability to take digital dental x-rays - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Knowledge of dental coding systems - Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
