Dr. Ramillosa at Friendship Dental Center is looking for an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our established private practice in Salem, Oregon for Full Employment or Part-time Employment.

We are a busy, patient-focused office with a wonderful, collaborative team. Our emphasis is to provide excellent, evidence-based, modern dentistry with kindness and compassion.

Our ideal hygienist is clinically thorough, kind, gentle, and strong team member.

Schedule

Our office is open 5 days a week and our ideal candidate is available for at least 4 days per week.

·         Monday–Wednesday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

·         Thursday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

·         Friday:  8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

·         $55–$65/hour, depending on experience.

What We're Looking For

·         Provides thorough, high-quality preventive and periodontal care

·         Treats patients with kindness and compassion.

·         Is dependable, punctual, organized, and able to stay on schedule

·         Has a positive and professional attitude

·         Communicates respectfully and effectively with patients and coworkers

·         Works collaboratively with the doctor, assistants, and front-office team

·         Is looking to become a long-term member of the team

Responsibilities

·         Conduct adult and child prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, exceptional periodontal therapy for patients of all ages

·         Collaborate with the dentist and staff as a team

·         Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and how they affect our overall health

·         Perform dental charting and review and update patient medical histories

·         Take digital radiographs

·         Update and maintain patient dental records 

Qualifications

·         Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License

·         Nitrous Oxide Sedation a plus

·         Current BLS/CPR certification

·         Local anesthesia certification as applicable

·         Bilingual a plus

·         New grad welcome

·         Commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork
