Entry-Level Dental Assistant / Hygiene Assistant

Are you a new Dental Assistant looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build your skills? West Bell Dental Care is looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant / Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has recently completed dental assisting school or is early in their dental career and wants to gain valuable experience working alongside experienced dental professionals in a busy, fast-paced practice.

What You'll Learn & Do

As a Hygiene Assistant, you will work closely with our hygienists and clinical team while gaining practical experience in many areas of dentistry. Responsibilities may include:

• Seating and preparing patients for hygiene appointments

• Taking digital X-rays

• Taking intraoral photographs

• Assisting with periodontal charting and clinical documentation

• Reviewing and updating patient health histories

• Preparing and turning over treatment rooms

• Sterilization and infection-control procedures

• Maintaining instruments and clinical supplies

• Assisting hygienists with patient flow and staying on schedule

• Helping provide an excellent patient experience from start to finish

• Supporting other clinical areas of the practice as needed

Who We're Looking For

Arizona X-ray certification is strongly preferred. Coronal polishing certification is a plus.
