Dental/Orthodontic ReceptionistFull-Time | Patient-Focused | Growth Opportunities We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental/Orthodontic Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of creating a welcoming and professional experience for every patient and family. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience while helping keep the office running efficiently. What You'll Do Welcome and check in patients and families with a warm, professional attitude Check patients in and out and ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately Answer phones, return calls, and respond to patient questions in a timely manner Schedule and confirm appointments Maintain an organized and accurate patient schedule Verify patient demographic and insurance information Collect copayments, balances, and other patient payments Review patient accounts and communicate outstanding balances professionally Assist with treatment and appointment coordination as needed Maintain accurate patient records and ensure required forms are completed Communicate effectively with doctors, clinical assistants, treatment coordinators, and management Help coordinate referrals and communication with other dental offices and specialists Address patient concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when appropriate Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office Follow office policies, HIPAA requirements, and established procedures Support the team with administrative tasks and other responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For Previous dental or orthodontic front-office experience preferred Excellent customer service and communication skills Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable answering phones and communicating with patients in person Detail-oriented with accurate data-entry skills Comfortable discussing payments and patient balances Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and willing to be a team player Professional appearance and attitude Experience with dental/orthodontic practice-management software is a plus The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is more than just a receptionist.
