Seeking Dental Assistant Half Front Half Back Position for our Scottsdale, AZ Dental Practice

Our Private Dental Office is seeking a Dental Assistant  in a Half Back/ Half Front Role. 

We are a small and growing dental practice in the heart of Scottsdale. We need help in order to continue growing in both the front and the back office. This is a role that required ability to be a care centered dental assistant as well as have great customer service skills when in the front office. We are open to newly graduated RDAs as long as they are eager to learn, able to take critisism and follow directions, and are radiograph and coronal polish certified.

Our facility features advanced dental equipment and digital imaging systems, allowing our team to provide comprehensive care efficiently. We prioritize patient comfort and maintain strict standards for infection control and safety protocols. 

Candidate Requirements

We seek a dedicated professional with solid technical foundations and strong interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance independent work with collaborative efforts. Due to this being a hybrid (half front office and half back office) position, communication skills are pivitol to be successful. 

Job Responsibilities

• Answer phones, schedule patients, check patients in
• Seat patients and expose diagnostic and quality radiographs
• Assist doctor and hyginest in both dental procedures and hygine
• Verify patient insurances acurately and collect balances 
• Follow up with patients about appointments and scheduling treatment
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
• Support practice-wide initiatives and special projects as needed in both the front office administration duties and back office duties
• Demonstrate commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and experiences
• Eagerly help out both the lead assistant, the office manager, and the doctor where needed and be willing and able to change tasks quickly and be able to pick up where you've left off.
