Are you the person patients trust to explain their treatment plan? Do you like seeing a “yes” turn into a scheduled appointment? Our busy, growing general dentistry practice is looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join a team that works hard, supports each other and takes good care of patients.

What you’ll do

Present treatment plans clearly and kindly, so patients understand their options and feel confident moving forward
Check PPO and Medi-Cal (Denti-Cal) benefits, send pre-authorizations and track them until they’re approved
Give patients accurate cost estimates and walk them through financing options like CareCredit and Sunbit
Follow up on unscheduled treatment and keep the doctors’ schedules full and productive
Work closely with the front desk, the clinical team and billing so every handoff is smooth
Track case acceptance and help us keep improving it

What you bring

At least 2 years as a Treatment Coordinator or in a similar dental front-office role
Solid working knowledge of both PPO and Medi-Cal: benefits, frequencies, pre-auths and what gets denied and why
A warm, confident way of talking about treatment that never feels pushy
Strong organization, and the ability to keep up in a fast-paced, high-volume office
Experience with Open Dental is a plus
Bilingual in English and Spanish
