Permanent Dental Assistant Job in San Jose, CA
Our dental office is seeking an exceptional Registered Dental Assistant to enhance our patient care services.
We are a fast-growing multi-specialty dental practice and have an immediate need for an RDA/DA to join our dynamic team. Candidates should be friendly, professional, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, energetic, and hard-working. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance, manage dental procedures, and ensure a smooth patient experience from check-in to treatment completion.
RDA/DA position could be Full-time or Part-Time. Compensation will depend on your level of experience.

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers in the dental office
- Prepare customers for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed and needed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments and follow up with patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Requirements
- Proven Experience as an RDA/DA
- Current RDA license is preferred
- Prior knowledge of dental terminology
- Current X-ray & CPR certification
- Coronal polishing certificate
- Ability to make temporary crowns
- Dentrix software experience is helpful, but not required
