Dental Hygienist - 1021 Dental - Albany, NY

Duties

Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, teeth whitening, removing plaque, placing sealants, Arrestin, and applying fluoride treatments
Conduct patient assessments and oral health screenings
Take dental x-rays and photos
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile and safe environment
Use dental software systems such as Eaglesoft to update patient information and schedule appointments

Skills

Proficient in coding for dental procedures
Ability to take diagnostic x-rays
Strong patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues and develop treatment plans
Working knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $43.00 - $49.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
