We are currently looking for a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team for Thursdays & Fridays and help us continue to make a positive impact on the oral health of our patients.

Job Summary

The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for providing preventative dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and working closely with the dentist to support overall patient care. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient education and oral health.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments

• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed

• Examine patients for signs of oral diseases and provide preventative care

• Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols

• Collaborate with the dentist and other staff to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program

• Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

• CPR certification

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Prior experience preferred but not required (new grads welcome)
