We are seeking a dental assistant who can be an asset to jump start our new dental practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental setting and possess knowledge of various dental tools and technologies.
Should Be a Registered Dental Assistant with active XRAY Certification
Role

Greet new clients and complete standard questionnaires to learn when they were last seen and what type of care they’re here for
Lead patients back to examination rooms and update them on next steps
Run errands for dentists, like obtaining patient records or relaying memos to staff
Inform and prepare clients for x-rays
Assist in creating dental impressions
Clean patient’s teeth and sterilize equipment before and after patient visits
Tidy up in between clients and after visits

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
3+ year of experience with dental assistance (Required)
Registered Dental Assistant certification (Required)
Xray Certification (Required)
Basic understanding of dental medicine with an eagerness to learn
Organization, prioritization, and multitasking skills
Ability to listen well and quickly fulfill requests mid-procedure
Good judgment and critical thinking skills
Excellent customer service abilities and a cheerful, friendly demeanor/bedside manner
Entry-level administrative skills so that you can manage patient records
Strong ability to communicate with clients on the phone and schedule appointments
Familiarity with common insurance forms and policies and answering related questions
Ability to handle referrals to outside specialists

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Dental assisting: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:
