Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in process Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage and benefits through systems like Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth to facilitate accurate billing and claims processing Manage patient records with precision, including documentation review and updates in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks or Meditech Handle phone inquiries with professionalism using multi-line phone systems, providing clear information and directing calls appropriately Assist with insurance verification, claims submission, and follow-up to optimize revenue cycle management Support the dental team by managing office supplies, filing medical records, and maintaining a clean, organized front desk environment Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a dental clinic or healthcare setting Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding (ICD-10, CPT), and insurance procedures including Medicare and HIPAA compliance Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Athenahealth is highly desirable Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing proficiency (10 key typing) Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and clear communication abilities Ability to review medical documentation accurately and perform insurance verification efficiently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Previous clinic experience with medical billing, coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and office management is preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, documentation review, and office administration Join us in delivering top-tier dental care while fostering a welcoming environment for our patients!
