Position: Dental Assistant Summary of Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during various dental procedures including chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques Take digital dental X-rays Use of advanced technology including 3D scanners for comprehensive dental assessments Manage patient records while maintaining HIPAA compliance Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Take vital signs and assess patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions Maintain infection control standards in accordance with OSHA guidelines Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing medical documentation Ensure accurate medical coding and documentation for insurance claims and record keeping Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations Get treatment rooms ready and ensure all instruments are sterilized. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting; experience with dental clinic operations preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and clinical tasks Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members This position provides an excellent opportunity for growth within a professional dental environment committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
