Perio Dental Assistant - Smile Brands Inc. - Holiday, FL

Overview: Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking a skilled Travel Specialty Dental Assistant with periodontal and surgical experience to support our practices as needed. This role is ideal for an experienced assistant who is confident in all chairside procedures and comfortable traveling to support specialty providers. This role works between our Crystal River, Spring Hill, Holiday, Clearwater, Largo, Pinellas Park, Brandon & Citrus Park/Tampa offices. Schedule (days/hours): Tues - Fri 9am- 5pm (occasional Mon) Responsibilities: Provide chairside assistance for periodontal and surgical procedures Anticipate doctor needs and maintain efficient clinical flow Prepare and break down treatment rooms for specialty procedures Assist with treatment planning and patient education when needed Take and process digital X-rays per Florida regulations Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols Support multiple offices and providers as a traveling specialty assistant Qualifications: Florida EFDA required Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain before start date) 2 yrs surgical/perio experience required Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $23-26/hour About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
